Honoured to have attended MIDCON 2026, the Mid-Term National Conference of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, held at Raipur, as National Faculty.
It was a privilege to present our technique and experience in Robotic Colorectal Cancer Surgery, including Robotic Right Hemicolectomy with CME + CVL and Extended TME, before esteemed national faculty members and respected mentors. The academic exchange, discussions, and insights shared during the sessions were truly enriching and intellectually stimulating.
My sincere thanks to the Chhattisgarh Oncology Association and the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology for the opportunity and gracious hospitality.
Grateful for the continued trust, collaboration, and commitment towards advancing surgical oncology.
It was an absolute honour to join as faculty and present our robotic surgical techniques for the management of rectal cancers at the 6th International Conference of Global Cancer Consortium & 15th Eastern Zonal Oncology Symposium. The operative techniques included standard and extended Total Mesorectal Excision, intra-operative fluorescence navigation, and intracorporeal anastomosis. Also I had the privilege of being part of an outstanding panel discussion on the nuances of managing HER2-positive breast cancer. Grateful to Dr. Arnab Gupta Sir and the entire team from Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre and Research Institute for hosting the meeting in association with the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO). A truly enriching weekend—full of high-quality academics, revisiting and updating evidence-based guidelines with experts in the field, and reconnecting with close friends and colleagues.
It was truly an honour to moderate a session on Extremity Soft Tissue Sarcoma at ASICON 2025. Grateful to the West Bengal Chapter of ASI and the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology for the opportunity and for their continued commitment to academic excellence and collaborative learning in surgical oncology. 🙏 The cases selected for the session reflected a wide spectrum of extremity soft tissue sarcoma management, including various limb salvage surgeries for localized disease, locally advanced tumors, and metastasectomy for oligometastatic disease, all performed over the past few years by our team at Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals. Deeply thankful to my colleagues Prosenjit Das, Amit Choraria, Tamashis Mukherjee for the constant support, teamwork, and shared commitment to delivering optimal oncological and functional outcomes.
